One of the region’s longest-running benefit dinners in its 23rd year – Francis House Center’s Feast for the Streets – will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center (6151 H Street, Sacramento).
The event will undergo a major reconstruction and will now be a “plated” dinner, prepared by Chef Betsy Hite, owner and head chef at Elegant & Easy Gourmet in Wilton, CA. The menu will be truly elegant and feature items from Chef Hite’s farm in Wilton.
The evening’s festivities will also feature the 1st Annual Greg Bunker Prizes, to be awarded to four community leaders who have unselfishly battled to eradicate poverty and homelessness in the Sacramento region.
Dennis Mangers, a former Assemblyman, lobbyist and long-time community leader, will emcee the event. The evening’s festivities will also include a live auction led by local auctioneer extraordinaire David Sobon.
We've been nominated for Best Charity for KCRA's A-List! Please take a moment to vote for us and the good work we do to help the homeless and impoverished!

"I came to Francis House looking for help in whatever was offered. Yvette got me off the street and into a safe, drug free environment. If it were not for her help I would still be on the streets, or possibly dead. I wouldn't be where I am at if it weren't for Yvette and Francis House." Wesley, 20
"I heard about Francis House and they were a life saver. They gave me and my son hope, a room for a week and food. The staff is wonderful. You never know about life. One day you are working and everything's fine and the next day you lose your job, your house and you're homeless. You never know." Royal
